In worship leadership, church groups, study discussions and personal conversations, Brian shares his passion for life-affirming spirituality and for church being a place of community. He is committed to building up people's faith in a progressive, open and questioning faith environment.
Brian’s prior work includes leadership and community development positions with provincial and municipal governments in Alberta. Ordained by Saskatchewan Conference of the United Church of Canada after studies at St. Andrew's College, he ministered with churches in north-central Saskatchewan for 10 years before coming to Knox in 2010.
Pat is a gifted accompanist on both the organ and the piano, and has acted as Knox's organist for the past 23 years.
Whether it is sacred, classical or more contemporary music, Pat makes the 3 manual Casavant organ at Knox perform to its utmost yielding a sound that is warm and uplifting.
Pat also is the accompanist for the The Saskatoon Men's Choirs, the organist for the Saskatoon Funeral Home, and for many years has contributed to the musical offerings of both Gateway and Summer Players Theaters.
It is the people and the worship experience, as well as the organ, which keep Pat at Knox.
